Cupping is a technique derived from Eastern medicine and is used as a form of alternative treatment for soft tissue release. The cups are designed to create suction to the surface of the skin in which a moderate pressure is felt. Cupping is a more aggressive form of manual treatment and has residual effects of bruising at the treatment site that may last up to a week.
