Graston Technique® Therapy

What is Graston Technique® Therapy?
Graston technique is a form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM). It is characterized by the use of metal instruments with smooth edges, used to glide across the skin. Using these instruments provides the therapist with a diagnostic tool, as well as leverage, in order to treat deeper areas with less force. Graston technique is a specialized form of manual therapy. Only those who are certified may use these instruments for treatment.
