My Story
​
Bonnie Heier is a doctor of physical therapy raised right here in South Florida. She earned her Associates Degree at Broward College while on a softball scholarship, Bachelor's Degree in Health Science at Florida International University and finally her Doctorate degree at University of St. Augustine. Her sophomore year of college she sustained an ACL injury while playing on the field. Her road to recovery is what led her to becoming a physical therapist, so that she could help others with injuries, find hope and return to the activities they enjoy.
Dr. Heier was inspired to start her own practice to provide the utmost quality of care to her patients. At Higher Living physical therapy you will always have 1 on 1 attention with your therapist that will treat you as a person, not just an injury. Your treatment will be based on a holistic and conservative approach so you can reach optimal outcomes.
